Qualty VDO product. Don't get caught out with a flat battery - keep an eye on your vehicle's charging circuit with this classic, 52mm diameter, VDO ammeter. Features a sleek grey face with an orange arm. This gauge provides a maximum readout between -30 to + 30 AMPS.
Installation Steps:
Mounting the Gauge:
Choose a suitable location on your dashboard.
Drill a 52mm (2 1/16") hole. or use a 52mm gauge pod.
Insert the gauge and secure it using the provided mounting bracket and nuts.
Wiring:
+B Terminal: Run a wire from the +B terminal on the gauge to connect to the positive terminal of your battery.
+L Terminal: Run a wire from the +L Terminal on the gauge to connect to the wire between terminal 30 of your ignition and terminal 30 on your starter motor.
Earth Terminal: Connect to a suitable wire to a ground point on the chassis.
Using the JK Accessory Wiring Kit (J11703):
Use the 6m wire, flat terminals, piggyback terminals, fuse holder, and 5A fuse included in the kit to facilitate the necessary connections.
Important Notes:
Ensure all connections are secure to prevent short circuits.
Use appropriate fuses to protect the circuit.
